Thanks for the insight about the filtered numbers including removed apps whereas total app count does not.

I do know about the history, but thanks for bringing it up for those who do not know of this feature.

“Apps found: 35167″ is total number of apps currently available in store. Filter numbers includes also removed apps. I’m pretty sure about numbers as I coded this:)

BTW you can click on “Want to see more history?” to see history graph.

I’m pretty sure the stats do not include removed apps. I’ve been keeping a daily log of apps broken down by category and I have seen the number of apps in some categories down at times.
