Unofficial USGS App “Earthquake Watch” is in the Store

Another functional App just dropped into Windows 8 Store. This time its is something to keep an eye on Earthquakes as they occur all over the World. Earthquake Watch uses the services of the USGS to present you all the information. Obviously this is the first iteration of the app, hopefully the publisher will work to polish it further. I have just installed the app and reviewed it, giving the publisher the advice to go one step further and add alerting function, maybe use your location to warn you of any impending disaster in your vicinity. I guess with something like a quake, you would have felt if before you even receive the alert, but still, alerting will be a welcomed addition.
Download the app via the source below.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying
your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for rookie blog writers? I’d definitely
appreciate it.
